Fun Surprise Proposal

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

This was such a fun shoot! Heath wanted to surprise his girlfriend so he planned a fun “Couples Anniversary Shoot” on Tybee Island.  Half way through the shoot, he signaled to me that it was the perfect time and he got down on one knee and proposed! She was super surprised and so happy she just hugged him right off the bat. Heath knew the answer was YES! We then continued the session at a nearby park and got some fun engagement photos. These guys were so cute and in love!

Lydia and Ian!

I had the wonderful opportunity to give this couple a fun photo shoot on their first anniversary after the wedding! They got married in Charleston one year ago and had a fun reception at Rue de Jean, but unfortunately their photographer did not capture any good shots of them together! They found me and invited me to Charleston so that we could relive some of the memories!

Lydia and Ian were so much fun and great models! We wandered through the streets of Charleston looking for good locations and I know we got some shots that no one else will ever have! We even got invited into a secret garden in a kind family’s backyard. Here is a little preview of the shoot!

Amy and Chris’ Engagements!

I had so much fun photographing Amy and Chris’s Engagement session. It was my first Engagement session on Tybee and they showed me all kinds of neat places to get great photos. I love the area with the trees thats right next to the beach! Its so great to have a combination of forest and beach photos.

Mary Beth and Ross’s Awesome Wedding!

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

This wedding was just So much fun! Everyone made us feel like family and all of the details were so beautiful! There were so many beautiful details that made their wedding special and personal. One of my favorites was the idea to make a quilt out of pieces of fabric that the guests signed! They also had a special wedding beer and Mary Beth graced us with her awesome voice, singing Journey’s “Dont Stop Believin'”. I wish we could do it all over again and I am so happy for Mary Beth and Ross, they are perfect for each other and we are so glad we were a part of their special day!

Laura Beth’s Senior Photos!

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Laura Beth was visiting Savannah, from Knoxville, Tennessee , on her spring break and she wanted to get her Senior Portraits done because Savannah is so beautiful! Because of the crazy St. Pattys day madness that goes on all week we decided to meet early in the morning so that we could get the pretty light and have the park (mostly) to ourselves! We shot for quite a while longer than planned because we were just having a good time and then we decided to get eat breakfast at J. Christophers, which has the best Brunch in Savannah!

Mary Beth’s Bridal Session!

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Mary Beth almost didn’t do a bridal session, but I am so glad she did! She was such a beautiful bride and this Session was SO much fun! It was done out on Wilmington Island with all the beautiful big trees that are so iconic for Savannah! We were able to shoot at a neighbors backyard with the sun setting over the marshes and it was just perfect. At first we drove around trying to find the best spots for the shoot and though we were worried about the sun setting on us, but we ended up with some great portraits and the sunlight was just gorgeous!

I will be posting her wedding photos next week! 🙂

Suzanne and Matt

This was Such a beautiful wedding! I can’t believe I am only just now able to upload a preview of the photos, I have been SO busy!  It started out cold and windy for this beach wedding, but the sun came out just in time and made for some gorgeous photos 😀

Suzanne and Matt decided to have a first glance and it was so much fun. Just as Suzanne was about to walk up to him, the cake arrived and there was a ton of commotion, but somehow Matt endured and did not turn around to look! After they all went inside, it was just the two of them and it was so sweet! Congratulations Suzanne and Matt!
